For the month of February, we have chosen one heck of an athlete…HANNAH WILSON! Hannah is an extremely dedicated 5:30am’er who drives all the way from the Louisburg area to CrossFit Rolesville each morning. She is incredibly strong and never complains about the workout no matter what is thrown at her. Hannah always comes in with a smile and always encourages others. She takes coach’s cues, constantly pushes herself, and improves daily. We have seen her grow as an athlete and we couldn’t be prouder! We are thankful to have Hannah as a friend and apart of our CFR family!

Proudest accomplishment at CrossFit Rolesville?
Tough question because CFR has helped me in so many different ways, but I would say my proudest would be getting my first pull-up. I’ve been into sports for my entire life and
How did you find CFR? Why do you train?
A friend found CFR through Google and we signed up for our 1 on 1 together…we arrived about 30 minutes early and sat outside nervous! It’s funny now that we were so nervous because everyone at CFR is so nice and encouraging to new members. I train to be able to show up better in life. You guys build character and resiliency in here, getting through a tough workout translates to so many other aspects of life.
What is your favorite moment so far at CFR?
The partner workout for Officer Ainsworth on 01/19/19…just being with the community and being able to share a part in something that means so much. I love the spirit of Crossfit and the family bond it creates. Also, some of my favorite moments are when different members of CFR make gratitude shoutouts. We are all so grateful for CFR and the community and most of all, the coaches. You guys completely rock.
What is your daily motivation to workout?
Those smiling 5:30 faces! Just kidding, I love all y’all :] I see how far everyone has come and it definitely helps to know that everyone is in it together.
Favorite and least favorite movements?
FAVORITE: DOUBLE DB SNATCHES….although I love to cycle anything…barbells…dumbbells…kettlebells…
least fave: goblet squats
What’s one thing you would tell a new CrossFitter?
Celebrate the small victories and don’t be afraid to work hard.
One song that gets you amped up during a WOD?
Anything by Eminem :] and of course down with the sickness, cuz, ya know. Grrrr.
Tell us something about yourself that we don’t already know.
I road tripped to Oklahoma to see Mumford and Sons in 2013 and it was epic.
